Here is the story of Irena Sendler, who died recently at 98 years of age.
Read the account of her heroic efforts to save Jewish children from the holocaust. Read also about the young girls who began the "Life in a Jar" project. Irena Sendler heroically saved 2,500 Jewish children from death and was honored as a Polish Righteous Gentile. She was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007.
The worthy Irena Sendler was displaced by the unworthy Al Gore who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007 for advancing the cause of a non-existent global warming. What a shame! What a travesty! The Goracle isn't worthy to untie her shoelaces. Ironically, Irena means peace in the Greek language.
Irena Sendler is a model of selfless courage, bravery, compassion and noble purpose. She is worthy of honor.
