Last major stockpile from Saddam's nuclear efforts arrives in Canada

The removal of 550 metric tons of "yellowcake" — the seed material for higher-grade nuclear enrichment — was a significant step toward closing the books on Saddam's nuclear legacy. I wonder what Saddam was doing with this huge amount of yellowcake? It couldn’t possibly be that he wanted to enrich it into nuclear bombs, could it? Nah. He was a nice Red Cross worker who was totally misunderstood.

This elephant in the living room is so huge that few want to even talk about it. Why if the Dems just cover their eyes, the yellowcake elephant disappears (except Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame know Saddam wasn't buying yellowcake from Niger as Bush claimed)!

So let’s see........Saddam’s nuclear program came to a screeching halt without terrorists or Iran getting their hands on it. Qaddafi gave up his nuclear program. And now the North Koreans have blown up their cooling tower for their nuclear program. Maybe President Bush was on to something!
