Nazi Fighter, Protector of Jews

Here is the story of Irena Sendler, who died recently at 98 years of age.

Read the account of her heroic efforts to save Jewish children from the holocaust. Read also about the young girls who began the "Life in a Jar" project. Irena Sendler heroically saved 2,500 Jewish children from death and was honored as a Polish Righteous Gentile. She was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007.

The worthy Irena Sendler was displaced by the unworthy Al Gore who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007 for advancing the cause of a non-existent global warming. What a shame! What a travesty! The Goracle isn't worthy to untie her shoelaces. Ironically, Irena means peace in the Greek language.

Irena Sendler is a model of selfless courage, bravery, compassion and noble purpose. She is worthy of honor.

Global Warming Swelter and Swill

On Monday, June 23, 2008, James Hansen, Director of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies, spoke to Congress. He warned,

"Earth's atmosphere can only stay this loaded with man-made carbon dioxide for a couple more decades without changes such as mass extinction, ecosystem collapse and dramatic sea level rises."
The address marked the twentieth anniversary of his speech before Congress to launch the claptrap about global warming. That speech was not based upon actual science and the speech was framed with stagecraft.

Senator Al Gore (D-TN) and Rep. Tim Wirth (D-CO) orchestrated Hansen’s time before Congress in 1988. For this and following information, see here and here. Wirth ". . . admitted they picked the day after calling the National Weather Service to ensure it was a hot day." It happened to be a hot day in a drought and hot spell on the east coast. Wirth ". . . admitted proudly later they opened all the windows the night before, making air conditioning ineffective and making sure all involved including Hansen would be seen mopping their brow for maximum effect."

Ministers should take a cue from the Goracle every time they preach about hell! There might be more conversions as Gore, Wirth and Hansen were hoping for 20 years ago. In truth, we would rightly condemn religious manipulation of the temperature of the setting for a sermon on hell, yet these political charlatans did not have any qualms about fakery. Gore is still at it, shamelessly acting the religious quack, pounding the pulpit about the doomsday of climate change.

These quacks are crying wolf when there is no wolf. Look at this temperature chart to see the quackery of Gore and Hansen. The average temperature is a half a degree cooler today than in 1988. The highest temperature in 1998 was only 0.4o warmer than in 1988.

People like the false prophet Hansen would sell their soul to Gore’s snake-oil cure, all the while decrying the hawking televangelists. "In 2001, the Heinz Foundation "awarded" James Hansen with a payment of $250,000 for his work on global warming."

"In 2007, Hansen split a $1 million prize from the Dan David prize category of "Future Quest for Energy" (layman’s translation: a world without oil). In addition he also reported to have acted as a consultant to Gore’s global whining slide show, which was the impetus to the Prince of Peace’s film, "An Inconvenient Truth." In fact, in 2006 Hansen had the gall to appear on a New York City stage with Mr. Gore to promote the then upcoming film-though he did reportedly inform the audience, "I’m not speaking as a government employee."
A scientist looks at the facts and does not fudge facts and evidence. A scientist does not frame inconclusive evidence to tell an inconvenient lie. A scientist’s head is not turned by money. A scientist does not sell his soul. Any scientist who does, betrays science, evidence, principle and people.

Reddy Kilowatt at Gore’s Service

In the year since Al Gore took steps to make his home more energy-efficient, the former Vice President’s home energy use surged more than 10%, according to the Tennessee Center for Policy Research. . .

Since taking steps to make his home more environmentally-friendly last June, Gore devours an average of 17,768 kWh per month –1,638 kWh more energy per month than before the renovations – at a cost of $16,533. By comparison, the average American household consumes 11,040 kWh in an entire year, according to the Energy Information Administration.

The Goracle has a right to spend his money how he sees fit. He is free to consume enough energy to power 232 homes. He has the liberty to consume more in his domain than many entire small towns in the US. That is not a problem.

The problem is he shoots off his mouth. The problem is he expects us to consume less, significantly less than he does and then conserve on top of that. We like leaders who conserve along with us. We don’t like those who tell us how to live while they exempt themselves. We don’t like an empty shell, a fraud, a phoney.

We despise an elitist telling us to reduce our carbon footprint when ours is extremely small compared to his. We disdain members of the self-proclaimed elite who won’t leave us alone and continually manipulate our lives to help us.

Leave us alone; we don’t want your help. Then we will leave you alone to spend whatever you want. That’s your right. It’s also our right to have whatever size carbon footprint we choose just like Al[mighty] Gore does.

Brits like Global Warming

The British have kept records of the temperature since 1772, pre-Revolutionary War. A new record of 81.5ยบ F was set recently. They flocked to the beach to enjoy the sun and warmth briefly because a cool spell was returning all too quickly.

Imagine being disappointed once again after waiting since the Revolutionary War for the weather to stay in the low 80s for a few days. Ah, the Brits like global warming, even if it lasted a few hours.

The Al[mighty] Goracle can let it break into the 70s here any day now. That would be an enjoyable improvement.

The Failure of Ethanol and IPCC

I always enjoy economist Walter Williams whenever he hosts a talk show or writes.

Check out his article on the ethanol hoax.

Also the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is on the hot seat.

The founder of the weather channel says we should sue Al Gore.

Prophet Al

Make a note on your calendar for January 24, 2013 to see if the Goracle’s prediction turns out to be accurate. Gore announced: "Climate change is occurring far more rapidly than ..." imagined. "There are now forecasts that the North Pole ice caps may disappear entirely during summer months within five years," he peeped and muttered.

Any hype will do nowadays. The more grandiose it is, the better. And to think, Gore, the soothsayer, laughs at the good old fashioned doomsday prophets. My only concern: Where will Santa live in the summer?

Gore Files Lawsuits Against Time

By Pat Sajak

Lawyers for former Vice President Al Gore have filed numerous lawsuits against Time magazine, alleging a series of voting irregularities they maintain deprived Gore of Time's "Person of the Year" Award. It has been announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin received the 2007 award, with Gore finishing second.

Al Gore Opens Mouth, Increases Carbon Footprint

By Selwyn Duke

Speaking today to COOL-IT (Communists for Only Onerous and Lofty Industrial Taxation) in Nome, Alaska, former vice-president Al Gore criticized the United States’ failure to adequately address climate change. Mr. Gore warned of future consequences of inaction while emphasizing that we have already felt the effects of a lamentably low suicide rate. Gore mentioned the extinction of species, the melting of the polar ice caps, and his loss of Florida in the 2000 presidential election. Said Gore,

Florida is a very hot state – even in November. And members of lower-income socio-economic groups – who are most likely to vote Democrat – often can’t afford air-conditioning. Now, if you’re sitting around in a pool of your own sweat drinking Thunderbird, what are the chances you’ll be motivated to vote on election day?

I always enjoy Selwyn Duke’s writings. Read the rest of his article to be sure and catch his drift.

Carbon cost of Christmas dinner

A carbon footprint equivalent to 6,000 car journeys around the world will be produced by the UK tucking into Christmas dinner, researchers say.

It is claimed the UK's love of the traditional turkey dinner will generate 51,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide.

Academics calculated the production, processing and transportation costs of the festive ingredients.

The Manchester researchers estimate a dinner for eight generates 20kg (44lbs) of carbon dioxide emissions.

They arrived at the total emissions figure by assuming one third of the UK population eats a typical Christmas meal.

Methane emissions

Project leader professor Adisa Azapagic, from the University of Manchester, said: "Food production and processing are responsible for three quarters of the total carbon footprint, with the largest proportion - 60% - being related to the life cycle of the turkey.

"All stages in the supply chain have been considered, including raising the turkey, growing the vegetables, food storage, consumer shopping, cooking the meal at home and waste management.

"This includes the emissions of carbon dioxide due to energy consumption along the turkey supply chain and the emissions of methane and nitrous oxide generated due to the agricultural activities to raise the turkey."

The cranberry sauce alone, normally imported from North America, contributes half the carbon footprint related to transport.

___________________________________________

Oh, who cares? These people need to get a job; they have too much time on their hands. I will feast on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. And I won’t feel one bit guilty about it. Please join me with relish as we stamp our individual, momentary carbon footprints on the face of the earth.

The above story is one-sided and part of the truth. It leaves out so much—well life itself. All life is carbon based. Carbon based life is passed up higher and higher in the food chain. At every step in that chain, life has a carbon footprint. Carbon footprints are recycled and reused. When we consume the carbon based life called turkey, we recycle carbon in one way, for example, as carbon dioxide, which becomes a feast for vegetation.

The cycle starts over as oat plants consume carbon dioxide to make grains of oats for the turkey to eat so we have a meal for next Christmas. Vegetation isn’t interested in oxygen for itself, but it uses carbon dioxide for itself and gives off oxygen for us. Human-caused-global-warming-doomsayers don’t ever want to balance the carbon equation because that would kill their fear-mongering.

So while you are feasting on Christmas and releasing carbon dioxide, remember the wind will blow your carbon dioxide so the trees can have a feast. Eat up and rejoice without guilt. And who cares if the Goracle feels guilty!

Gore's prize: A fraud on the people

The Union Leader editorializes:

Alfred Nobel felt horrible about the uses to which his invention — dynamite — was put. So he endowed the Nobel Peace Prize and instructed that it go "to the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between the nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses."

Al Gore has done exactly none of those things.

Now that Al Gore has split a peace prize, we should review some of his lies here and here. The poor guy got only a piece of the Peace Prize.

AlGorithms

Here is a blog that goes hand in hand with Pat Tepoorten's comments on the Minnesota Energy Plan. The author just introduced this topic and will make future comments. Notice his play on the word algorithm, which is defined as a set of rules to solve a problem. Al Gore has it all solved with his set of rules.

Notice also a web site mentioned in this article. How the temperature of an area is measured affects the temperature that is recorded in the records. Look at the absurd conditions in which many official thermometers are placed. No wonder temperatures are skewed. "Houston, we have a problem!"
