Endorsing Convention for Congressional District 17B

The Chisago County Republican Party's endorsing convention is on the calendar:

• April 5, 2008, Saturday
• 10:00 a. m. sharp
• registration begins at 9:00 a. m.
• North Branch High School auditorium
• convention calls have been mailed to all delegates and alternates

The purpose of this convention is to endorse a Republican candidate to take back the House seat for 17B from the liberals. This is the opportunity for delegates and alternates to exercise their privilege and responsibility to select the candidate who will represent CD 17B Republicans in the election this fall.

Note to Chisago County residents in Congressional District 17A: Fish Lake Township, Harris A and Nessel Township.

While you are members of the Chisago County Republican Party, you are part of CD 17A with Isanti County and their convention. Your Representative is Rob Eastlund, a great Republican. Please be sure to support Rep. Eastlund from now through the election. We in 17B need him in the legislature.

You are certainly welcome to attend the 17B convention, but be aware of the above information. There are many new delegates and alternates this year who may be confused by the distinction between 17A and 17B.
