The father of the Canadian health care system, Claude Castonguay, is now championing private health insurance and contracting services to the private sector. Here is the story.

Senator Rick Olseen (D-17) voted to pass the bill (Senate Journal, page 8597). The bill passed the Senate 40-22.

The bill passed the House 83-50. Jeremy Kalin (D-17B) voted for the bill (House Journal, page 12065).
